Reform

ACT! exists as a dedicated advocate for the cause of teachers and their need for greater support in meeting their classroom supplies needs.

ACT! will equip teacher advocates with specific proposals that they can present to school district management and the Governing Board, proposals that identify new ways to deploy resources in support of teacher classroom supplies. These proposals will also identify user-friendly protocols and procedures for teachers to be able to more easily obtain reimbursement for their out-of-pocket classroom expenses.

Ultimately, the mission of our Alliance of Community and Teachers is to rectify this unconscionable lapse in our public education system so that, some day in the not too distant future, teachers will no longer have to go out-of-pocket for crucial classroom supplies.
