Our Mission

The mission of ACT!, the Alliance of Community and Teachers, is to bring about systemic change regarding classroom supplies for school teachers, which currently are so underfunded in the public education system that a high percentage of teachers typically spend hundreds of dollars annually for unreimbursed classroom supplies.

The mission of ACT! is implemented through the Four Rs of Recognition, Reimbursement, Research, and Reform.
